Serve the less fortunate!!

We friends went for a fun-filled trip. It was to the Ajanta and Ellora caves. We were so excited as we reached Aurangabad! For her, it was the first time she came with us for an outing. We hired an auto and it was in ease as one of our friends were able to talk Hindi. We were so amused to go to Ellora caves. There was something written on the way we travelled about this place.

“The 34 caves at Ellora and the 29 caves at Ajanta remained in obscurity for over a millennium, until John Smith, a British Army Officer, accidentally stumbled upon them while on a hunting expedition in 1819. Ajanta and Ellora are protected monument sites under the Archaeological Survey of India and has been included in the World Heritage list of monuments.”

We went to Cave 16, after sometime and it was called as Kailasa. To my amazement, it was cut with a single rock and it looked like a 3D structure! It was a holy temple to Lord Shiva.

It was said that sculptures related to the epic Ramayana was also seen, but I am not that well versed in it. So, I am not sure whether the scuptures belong to that.

On either side of Kailasa, there were more caves with several sculptures and one of it’s way went deep into the mountain. People advised us not to go too far into that. But, as we were talking, giggling around, one of my friend told me that the shy girl was missing. We were terrified with that info as she was very shy and also this was her first outing with us.

The shy girl was wandering as if her feet were a slave to the orders of some extraordinary force. Se started limitlessly walking into the forest. As she walking, she found a lot of Shiv Lingams on the way.  Suddenly those holy

Lingams turned golden color and it was running like a gold lake. She stopped her journey inside the mountain seeing this amazing thing! The moment she was seeing the golden river, it was changing into gold coins!!!!

A heap of gold coins!!

She has heard of these stories when she was kid. Yet, she never thought that this would be coming true to any of us. Also she never even imagined that this experience would be hers!! A dream coming true moment for her!!!

She was only 23 years old and this much gold coins was too much for her. Even though she was shy, she too had her dreams right? She felt it was God’s gift for her and she took as much she could in her backpack. She could not control her excitement!! Her character is that, she was very sympathetic to old people, poor people. Even when she didn’t have this much gold coins or money, she used to serve them with whatever she had.

Now, the “happiness of giving others” was deeply rooted into her soul!

While she was finding her way out, God would have thought that with this thoughts, “this little girl should live happily ever after without any miseries!”

To God’s grace, she found the way out and was travelling home alone with all the money she had. It would have crossed millions of dollars. Meanwhile her friends were upset on bringing her on the trip and where going back to their places.

She has already heard of projects and programmes on the abolishment of poverty. She eventually, signed up for many such projects and started giving away all her gold coins until it was zero in count!

Yep, she had her own job to feed her! 🙂

So, how many of us are willing to give away such a gift from nature to others who are less fortunate than us?

“Help others, Be happy!”

World Savings Day! – What’s your part in it?

Let me ask the readers of this blog a small question.

What did you save today?

Did you save earth by planting more trees? Or did you go by bicycle to reduce the carbon footprints, thereby saving the earth from pollution? Or did you burn the factory waste to make our mother earth die soon as her atmosphere is polluted?

images (2)

Coming to plastics! Did you throw the plastics just on the road so that they go into the soil as such?

Are you using the eco-friendly papers, bags, etc?

These are the small steps we can take for greater benefits to the future generations – that is, your grand kids and my grand kids by giving away a better earth to them!

Teach your kids to switch off the switches of electrical generation when not in use!

Did you know that, approximately 30% of energy used in buildings is used inefficiently or unnecessarily! So what are you waiting for?

A unit of electricity saved in each and every home per day can be a great savings of electricity generated!

Riding bicycles play a very important role in saving the natural atmosphere and saving electricity! Do you play your part to save these?

And yeah, our next savings is money! Money plays an important role in all our lives. Save a part of your earnings for your future! Just take 10% of your earning and save

It will be a surprise for you when it is crucially needed!!

Reducing the habit of wasting money for unimportant things is also a great money saver! Start writing a list to buy, the next time you for shopping and stick to it, whatever be the case! You will definitely see some money in your pockets at the end of the month.

images (1) The most important savings are FOOD savings!

Buy vegetables and fruits which are really essential and you are going to eat it in the forthcoming days. Don’t keep the organic foods until it is rotten. But, if you see it has decayed or rotten, please do not throw it away in your dustbins as such.

The decayed and rotten organic substances can be kept in a compost pit – which eventually becomes a good manure to the plants!

Last but not the least, Save some time for your family! I am sure that office works, promotions, medals, etc is not as worthy as good memories with family and friends!

Yep, Thank God! I saved this post in my blog 😀

Happy World Savings Day!!! (October 31st) 🙂 😀 🙂 😀

Go, grab a chocolate today!!

All I say is this one thing today!

8d01b08864e81063fb7622eca752ee15 Because today is Chocolate day!!!!!! Eat a heart full of chocolates and enjoy its taste!!

One of the weird thing i heard is that our favourite brand Lays has its chocolate potato chips – but to our dismay it was only a limited edition!

Screen Shot 2015-10-28 at 8.53.24 AM

For a limited time only, Lay’s (known as Walkers in the UK) in America sold crisps dipped in a layer of milk chocolate. One of the eaters said the crisps had a “salty-sweet combination, along with the texture contrast of warm melted chocolate and a crunchy chip.”

Sounds Yummy right!! I wish this Lays comes back to market!!! Would love to taste it!!

Also, there are a lot of naturally occurring chemicals in chocolate that are either good for us or affect our mood. There’s a chemical that induces feelings associated with love which makes us very happy. chocolate-stamps

Ancient “Mayans” thought that cocoa beans as “Gift of Gods” and used it as a currency!! Sounds interesting right?? 🙂

Believe it or not, Belgium issued chocolate flavored stamps!!!

So what’s stopping you from having one?

“Go, grab a chocolate now!!!!!!”

Get in touch with your emotions! – Inside out!!!!!

One of the greatest innovation is to animate what is going on inside our brains. While seeing the movie, I just went deep into my head and watched all my emotional feelings working out there!

inside-out-movie-emotions-20150611143045-q75,dx800y-u1r1g0 Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, who are on for control in an 11-year-old’s mind, are the breakout stars of Pixar’s hit film.

The personified emotions are so memorable that we wondered what they are coming alive to me even after the end of this movie.

This movie also taught me one important lesson. It is not only the emotion “Joy” gets our life moving, but each and every other emotion such as Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger also plays an important role in keeping our stable life. Each teaches us good lesson for us not to break our own personality islands with its unique memories in it – created and maintained just for us!!

This movie also tells us that we are the conscience and is the controller of the console- out there in our mind to stay happy and it is not the others who should come and make us sad or happy. The console is in our hands!!!

Blended senses!

When would we be actually have a need for alphabets associated to colors or the numbers, months of the year or days of the week elicit precise locations in space where the year 1980 is very far away than the year 1990.

You would be wondering what are all these (as a normal human beings!).  Let us see some interesting incidents.

Uncle Sam says that he would see color Red whenever he hears a bell ringing. This is an involuntary joining of visual perception and hearing. Another bizarre incident is that, Bianca would feel the taste of coffee on her taste buds when she hears the piano played. Also another person says that she always hears sweet bird chirps while she smells chocolate smell.

And for your surprise, these guys do not see this as two different senses as how we just thought while reading the above sentences. They are one and real blended senses!! What an awe!! We humans are getting evolved in a very sophisticated way!!

Afterall, what is creativity? Random associations to generate novel ideas. These would be a very random association of senses which clearly tells us that, we human beings are under the verge of evolution 🙂

PS: This post is dedicated to all synesthetes 🙂

Tom and Jerry – you are with us!

One fine day, Akansha was planning to make puris. Yeah! Who doesn’t like puris and sabji/dhal for it? The word Puri Immediately reminded her of awesome memories with her loving mom and dad, going to various restaurants. Now, living with her hubby – She planned to do her first puri by her own.

Since it was the first time she was trying to do this recipe, she was rolling the flour to different shapes which came out to be very hilarious! When she fried the first rolled flour into the oil, she could see it was turning into a very different shape while frying. To her amazement, it was metamorphosing into a cute little Jerry. Her eyes widened in bewilderment! She hurried to call her husband to see it.

When he was coming nearby, for their coincidence, it became the real Jerry popping out of the frying pan and coming alive. The surprise element was that the Jerry was able to speak and understand their language. Now, she was not able to wait to do the next puri. Her appetite for food had been gone now and waiting for the next comic character coming alive to her home.

She made some random amoebic shape of the flour and fried it. Now, it slowly metamorphosed into none other than Tom!Not only Akansha’s childhood friends came alive but also her hubby’s !!!!!!!!

Immediately Tom and Jerry started talking to them in a very loving way! Tom and Jerry were sitting besides Akansha and her hubby in the sofa and cuddling them. It was their dream come true. They felt they were in a dream!

She exclaimed, “Oh my God! Such lovely creatures!!”

Now they decided to show up to their neighbors, their city people and flaunt about this. They couldn’t stop telling to anyone else!Featured image

But they didn’t know that something else is going to happen. Akansha gave them milk and biscuits and they started off for the road trip!! But when the went out, they started remembering their age old quarrels and started to fight with each other. Now, Akansha and her hubby did become terrified seeing this act. But, they were also amused seeing their TV series coming alive!!

After giving cheese to both the cuties they were settled down and all four were settled down in the car and set out to experience the outside world! He bought them a lot of cheese, pizzas, beverages, of course awesome wears, and all four went for swimming together. Their excitement didn’t vanish away until those two legends waved good bye for then to see others who love them! The day was not only fun for our Tom and Jerry couples – Akansha and her hubby, but also for the real Tom and Jerry too. They took a selfie with both the humans and faded off in the dusts of air!!!

They both may be two different comic characters. For her, its the one. Jerry will not look good and mischievous without Tom and vice versa! Both give us joy to millions of children of our times. (PS: I belong to 90’s era)

Love you Tom and Jerry! Keep visiting us often!!!

I Pamper my tiny little cute darling!

It is of complete ecstatic moment when you see your kid’s very cute little fingers, rosy skin entering into the world for the first time. Resting very next to her mother, the cute little baby is anxious even for small touches. The mother is in complete happiness but, now comes the daunting task of taking care her wonder of her life!

Screen Shot 2015-10-21 at 4.16.12 PM

So, she thought her mother was using all these below tips:

First and foremost, her skin should be moisturized always with either oil or some gentle moisturizing cream. As we adults even face dry skin and related dehydration. She should be fed with ample amount of good Dairy products, fruits, milk etc for better hydrated skin.

Screen Shot 2015-10-21 at 4.13.38 PM

Secondly, towels she used for sleeping, beds should be of cotton with enchanting colors preferably light colors.

Thirdly, while some exposure to germs early on can help strengthen your child’s immune system, you don’t want to risk her falling ill. Practice smart germ control by insisting that anyone who holds your new baby does some hand washing first. Also, keep sick friends and family away from your baby, and clean your home on a regular basis. Remember, though, that some germs are unavoidable and there’s only so much you can do.

Fourth one, use a clean baby wipes for cleaning the baby. It should always clean soft and comfortable.

Fifth one, the most important one is that use dry panties and clothing always. He or she should be in cool home where direct sunlight can cause instant rashes on his skin and allergies. This is mainly due to her soft skin and it should always be maintained properly.  Screen Shot 2015-10-21 at 4.22.29 PM

Also change diapers within a particular duration or when it stains. Taking care of a baby might seem to be a daunting task for new mothers or newly married couples, but its easy and interesting when done with love and care.

Let us see what people think about Pampers:

“Pampers are cozy, soft and comfortable” says a new born baby’s mother who stays nearby to my house.

Another mother says “My new born is very happy and cheerful. I am not worried about his skin problems now!”

Last but not the least, taking care of the baby might be mom, but dad’s helping hands are truly essential for better growth and a loving family.

So I would say without hesitation that Pampers brings you the softest ever Pampers Premium Care Pants. Its cotton-like softness is #SoftestForBabySkin and allows it to breathe, thus keeping baby’s skin soft and healthy, and your baby happy.

Navarathri and Dusshera – the celebration of Good over the Evil!

Golu – the word itself inspires every child in oneself. It is all about making new friends by visiting other neighborhood homes, singing beautiful and soul stringing carnatic songs, beautiful and gorgeous navaratri dolls and most of all – every kids’ favorite – the various sundal varieties served everyday. Yeah, of course the small surprise gift for everyone who comes to the home for seeing the golu display is also a special part of this festival.

Golu Display on Dussehera

In this festive melee, what makes these nine days so unique is that they are communal in nature and bring about a great bonding between neighbors, family and friends. It’s a great occasion to catch up with our loved ones.

It is the beauty of Indian subcontinent from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Assam to Afghanistan although we spoke different languages but remained united in this Dusshera/ Navarathri.

Nava means nine and rathri means nights. We celebrate this for nine months starting from the no moon day (amavashya) of that month. First three days is for Parvati Matha and the middle three days for Lakshmi Devi and the last three days for the sacred Saraswathi matha.

Vijayadasami is the last day (10th day) of the festival where it is said that this was the day when Rama defeated Ravana and rescued Sita from Sri Lanka! Nowadays, we keep it as a habit to start a new study or a new hobby, a new learning. Its all about a fresh beginning like how it was a afresh start to Ram and Sita.

Men or Women? Does it really matter??!

Shiva and Shakthi, male and female energy, are seen as two halves of a whole, each valuable in its own right, each needing the other as a complement. God can be mother as well as father, and the Mother is, finally, divine. Ideally, women are seen as the invisible backbone of society; it is that backbone that holds society upright, and when it falls, so too, according to Hindu thought, does society.

It is not whether you are a man or a woman. It is the dharma and the virtue of right doing matters the most. By one’s manners and good virtues, we tend to become great. All the Gods we feel sacred is not their humane form. It is their right doing virtue, their mannerisms, thoughts ahead of their time be remembered well. Their good deeds were fascinated and prayed as God.

So let us start becoming noble like Lord Ram, Shiva, Jesus, Buddha, Kali, Draupadi, Krishna have lived in this earth beyond the gender discrimination!
